Office Procedures
Dr. Tang performs a wide range of gynecologic procedures in the comfort of the office, including IUD and Nexplanon insertion, colposcopy for abnormal Pap smears, minor hysteroscopies, and vulvar biopsies. She offers local anesthetic as well as nitrous oxide and anti-anxiety medication such as Xanax as needed. You deserve to get the care you need while feeling as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
Dr. Tang will perform LEEP procedures for treatment of cervical pre-cancer, larger hysteroscopies such as for the removal of fibroids, and any other procedures you do not feel comfortable with undergoing while awake in the operating room with more significant anesthesia.
Note That insurance plans may not reimburse you for anesthesia in the OR for procedures like IUD insertion, so please contact your insurance plan to inquire about coverage for out of network reimbursement for OR services like anesthesia and facility fees.
